This paper proposes simple, but effective models for predicting the conductive EMI noise of an actively clamped resonant DC link inverter (ACRDCLI). In this paper, simplified equivalent circuits are proposed, noise generation and distribution mechanisms are identified and the spectrum of the conductive EMI noise is calculated analytically. These models have been proven valid by experimental results, from the resonant frequency up to a few MHz. Detailed analysis and discussion are included
