We propose a Ti:LiNbO3 (LN) Mach-Zehnder modulator integrating coupler and photodiode (PD) module functions for the compensation system of DC-drift and other phenomena, and have developed a new LN chip construction which includes a Ti diffused area near a Y-junction waveguide. The Ti diffused area routes some radiation light from the waveguide to the monitor PD chip
