To improve the operation speed and accuracy of two-dimensional barcodes image-correction, this paper proposed a QR code edge detection method based on wavelet transform. Firstly, we take advantage of the characteristics of multi-resolution analysis of wavelet transformation to denoise the QR code image. And then multi-level wavelet decomposition is done to the denoised image, from which we can obtain the wavelet coefficient at all levels. And finally, we refine the edge processing to get the target image. Tests result shows that the algorithm can not only obtain good edge detection effect, but also greatly simplify the calculation. What's more, it can reduce the noise effectively.
