This article discusses the different issues involved in ensuring the quality of project supervision at the Open Learning Institute of Hong Kong. It describes the registration procedures and allocation of project titles, which help to optimise the balance between students' interests and abilities. A good teaching strategy, assessment strategy and monitoring system are key components of a good quality assurance system which will ensure good quality of project supervision
