According to the characteristics of bus system data, designed a proper linear referencing system and dynamic segmentation data model. Then take as an example, introduce the process of building a bus system database in detail. This database can satisfy the needs of public transportation information inquiry well. Finally, summarize the superiority of dynamic segmentation model over the traditional data moel, while also point out the unavoidable defect.
