For cable network fire detection system in intelligent building the existence of the problems that the information transmission is slow, the rate of miss/false alarm of fires is high, and detection and alarm of poisonous gases in people's living environment is not timely. A wireless network system is designed, in his paper, for fire and poisonous gas detection based on multi-agent and the system model is established as well. The system employs the idea of agent to improve the acquisition sensitivity, accuracy, and real-time of collecting fire data and poisonous gas data. Using the wireless network way for data transmission between the agents, that increases data transmission speed. Using D-S data fusion algorithm to process fire environmental data, this can effectively reduce the missed/false rate of fires.
