This paper presents a dual wideband CPW-fed planar monopole antenna with single notched band by using meandered line. The proposed antenna structure consists of circular patch which responds to broadband frequency range. The CPW transmission line is applied as feed element. The mea are coincident ndered line is placed on ground planes with its length corresponds to approximately a half wavelength of center rejected frequency. The antenna capably rejects the undesired frequencies range from 3.58 – 4.18 GHz. The proposed antenna capably affords dual wide impedance bandwidth, the first bandwidth from 1.6 – 3.58 GHz and the second band from 4.18 – 7 GHz. The measured radiation pattern shows nearly omni-directional in both of xz and yz planes. The proposed antenna is capability applied to operate on DCS1800, PCS1800, UMTS, IMT-2000, WLAN (IEEE802.11b/g/a/j) and WiMAX (2.5GHz/5.5GHz) applications.
