The system is based on TMS320DM642, which is a digital processor chip of TI, as the core and combined with SAA7113 and SAA7121 Chip as the video decoder/encode. The TMS320DM642 chip can solve the problems of large video data transmission and achieve high reliable video monitor systems. In the paper, it represents the structure of DM642 and DSP/BIOS system. It details the design of software module. In the last place, the paper gives the solution for the problems in the design and realizes the design.
