Schema Matching is one of the fundamental problems of many application fields of database, such as data integration, data warehousing, e-commerce and information sharing. The aim of schema matching is to find out semantic correspondence schema elements among disparate data source. This paper proposes a word similarity-based schema matching method which uses information of instances to find out the semantic mappings automatically. The application of the proposed method in Chinese mobile phone information integration problem shows its effectiveness in real applications.
