A fast generation technique of impedance matrix in the simplified subentire domain basis function method for analyzing finite periodic structures is proposed. The fill-in of impedance matrix is very time-consuming. By using the proposed technique, the fill-time can be reduced to O(Nc), where Nc is the number of cells in periodic structure. Numerical results validate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed technique.
