Investigated is the performance of beamforming with feedback delay in a two-hop amplify-and-forward relay network, where the source having a multi-antenna communicates with the multi-antenna destination via a single-antenna relay, over mixed Rayleigh and Rician fading channels. The exact expression of the outage probability and the tight lower bound of the average symbol error rate for the relay network are derived. Computer simulations are given to demonstrate the validity of the analytical results.
