Proposed is a post-processing scheme to reduce the quantisation noise of the key frames by using the decoded neighbour Wyner-Ziv frames in a distributed video coding framework. The proposed scheme results in a quality gain of up to 2 dB for the key frames and improves the overall rate-distortion performance of the codec without adding any additional complexity at the encoder.
