To establish evaluation system for green product design is the premise of implementing green manufacturing. Through the analysis of the product green design process, evaluation factors and evaluation goals, we build the product green design evaluation system and evaluation principles, and proposed a evaluation ideas based on energy consumption of the product green design. Using the energy consumption calculation and analysis about product green design elements, the way of product green design evaluation system is given. So the energy consumption in the stages of material selection, product production and repair need to be firstly calculated for identifying the energy consumption indicators. Finally, the approach is validated by applying it into the green design of flange ring.
