This paper analyzes the real-time dispatch for urban rail transportation and puts forward a customized gathering and processing method for the passenger flow data. Obtain the unidirectional real-time non-uniform departure time-table, which will act as the basis of the train dispatch, by building a model with the departure interval as the model's variable, the maximum departure interval as the aim, considering the minimum departure interval, the maximum accepted waiting time and the limit of carriage capacity. After testing by examples, the real-time dispatch model is absolutely effective. In addition, this model can be solved simply, and is convenient for the computer programming. It makes the real-time dynamic dispatch for urban rail transportation possible combining with the existing techniques and equipment.
