We present a cross platform prototype system targeted at collaborative search-and-retrieve navigation tasks. The system is designed as a timed-task completion game, and shares data about a virtual world between two different computer platforms. One player has a “God view” using a tablet-based interface to assist in directing the other player. This other player has a first-person “Hero view” and a hover board-style interface. The system is designed to allow collaborative navigation using nonverbal communication using waypoint beacons.
