The convolutional perfectly matched layer (CPML) is developed for alternating-direction-implicit (ADI) radial point interpolation meshless method (RPIM). The presented node-based CPML provides efficient absorption of outgoing electromagnetic waves from a truncated computational region of the ADI-RPIM method, and thus extends the unconditionally stable meshless modeling to open-region scattering and radiation problems. The unconditional stability and effectiveness of the node-based CPML are verified through numerical experiments.
