In 2002, the then Vice President of IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) Publications, Prof. R.P. Jindal, instituted the concept of a "golden list" of reviewers to recognize the dedication and voluntary contribution of time by peer reviewers of the EDS journals, Electron Device Letters (EDL), and TRANSACTIONS ON Electron Devices (T-ED). This editorial outlines the required roles and responsibilities of the "golden list" of EDS peer reviewers.
