This paper presents a power line communication (PLC) transceiver design of in-vehicle power line compliant with FlexRay communication systems. FlexRay-based in-vehicle power line communication provides a solution for high reliability without increasing weight, volume and cost of the wiring harnesses. A 16-QAM (Quadrature amplitude modulation) scheme is utilized in the transceiver design.
