There are requirements for reliable multi-peer communications to support various multimedia applications such as cooperative document editing, and desktop multimedia conferencing. These requirements, especially lead the enhancements of existing transport layer services and protocols. We propose a connection-oriented multi-peer transport service definition that provide a reliable multicast communication service among the members participating in the group transport connection
