Virtually reality lends itself well to a wide range of technological applications. Many applications for VR, particularly military applications, require a high level of computational power. Now that this is available at an ever increasing abundance along with VR hardware (HMDs, datagloves, trackers, etc.) many very desirable application directions can be effectively researched and developed. The work described in this paper relates to mobile communication systems. The project discusses the development of virtual communication components, the implementation of realistic functional operation of each component, the estimation of RF fields strength with multipath propagation and allows strategic scenarios to be implemented and assessed effectively
