DMT signal analysis system is a kind of demodulating equipment, as the third party, for the for the purpose of measurement, analysis, evaluation and so on, to demodulate the communication signals using discrete multi-tone modulation (DMT) and demodulation method to communicate between two communicating parties. The sampling frequency of the system is generally higher than that of working DMT system and the synchronization between the both sides of the communication has been established. Therefore, the key technology for the demodulating system to achieve the signal demodulation normally is extract synchronization information from DMT signal that translated between the two communicating parties. This paper presents a synchronization method that uses cubic spline interpolation, cyclic prefix of DMT signal, and pilot information to establish synchronization for the system. Actual demodulation operations show that the method can achieve good results.
