Using the current control for dynamic voltage scaling to reduce the power consumption of PC systems

In this paper we use the load current of the CPU as decision of the working state of the PC is either a heavy load or a light load. Based on the voltage specification of each device on the PC motherboard, we use the current control for dynamic voltage scaling (IREF-DVS) regulator to provide different voltages for each device. When the PC has a light load we can decrease the operating voltage of each device to the minimum voltage, and with a heavy load this design can increase it to the maximum voltage to improve the performance.
