The paper describes an application for displaying advertisements in between switching of TV channels. The device for reception and playback of digital television signal receives such signal and processes it further. On some channels, within the received signal, multimedia advertising content is present (eg. pictures or short video messages). Advertisements are displayed conditionally on user's TV screen depending on user's next selected channel.
