The goal of the research described in this work was to get results about the effectiveness of on-line exercises in the field of digital signal processing, and to develop a set of interactive exercises in purpose of enhancement of the education of this subject as well as to faciliate integration of the subject in an on-line program of distance education. Web pages, and a set of exercises realized in Matlab was created. Appache Web server and Matlab Web server are linked and installed with a database to enable the formative evaluation of the system. During the development of the learning system exercises were accessible via Internet and testing was accomplished through surveys filled by the students. Results of the surveys served to make the evaluation of the learning system. Data were assessed and interpreted.
