The construction characteristics and corresponding outcomes of community health management information system based on resident electronic health record (EHR) in Town J of Ningbo city were analyzed in the paper. The results showed that a intensive, scientific community health management information system based on EHR, which merged multiple functions including basic medicine, public health service, medical insurance, medical cooperation, performance assessment and health administration into an integral whole, was developed in Town J. The new-type lifetime digitalization community health service and health management model was innovatively built. The new model has facilitated the sharing of resident health information.
