By growing the use of real-time application on mobile devices, there is a challenge to provide reliable routing algorithm among these devices. We propose a new method in route selection for Ad hoc On demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol which increases the reliability of the selected route. In this scheme for each node along route discovery, we determine two parameters, to calculate the routes reliability. To ensure the correctness of our method, we create a Colored Petri Net for the protocol. By applying the model, results show that the routing reliability is increased in comparison with standard AODV.
