User interface is one of key factors that determine whether cartographic visualization system software has good usability or not. In this paper, current cartographic visualization systems' (CViS) styles of user interface are analyzed and the elements of user interface's usability to different users are researched. In the authors' viewpoint, the center of CViS user interface design should be turn from function centered to user centered. Then, the methods of how to design and implement user centered interface of cartographic visualization system software are introduced. At last, an example is given to illuminate these methods.
