On the basis of the previous establishment of the testbed network structure for the emulated test, this paper focuses on the transmit power analysis of the practical network and the advanced testbed network for 3G/B3G systems. The advanced testbed structure was established previously by China Mobile Communication Corporation (CMCC). Theoretical analysis, system-level simulation, and outfield testing are adopted for the transmit power analysis. We first study the power adjustment in the testbed network to achieve the equivalence on the aspect of system performance compared with the actual network. After that, the outfield test and the simulation are implemented to evaluate the fitness degree between the actual network and the testbed network. The conclusion indicates that the advanced testbed network represented by the simulation platform could simulate the actual system from the aspect of the output metrics with the studied transmit power adjustment.
