This paper first analysis advantages and disadvantages of image zooming algorithm based on wavelat transform and bilinear interpolation. Then according to the similarity of bandelet component it gives a improved bilinear interpolation algorithm modified by bandelet transform. Experiments show that the algorithm can properly retain abundant high frequency information in original image. After bandelet transform and wavelet reconstruction we can obtain an image with higher resolution, better visual effect, higher Signal Noise Ratio(SNR), more detail information and no apparent warp.
