A magnetic field probe for measuring surface current distributions on millimetre wave microstrip antennas has been designed and fabricated. To test this H-field probe, microstrip dipole antennas were printed on alumina substrates. The current distributions obtained are presented. They compare well with the theoretically expected distributions.
