An atomic force microsccoic was used to observe human fibrinogen deposition from solution onto freshly cleaved mica in air and in buffer. Three forms of adsorbed fibr inogen were observed on hydrophilic mica. The dynamic processes of fibrinogen adsorption onto mica were also studied.
