The aim of this paper is to analyze the future perspectives of the new technologies of Concentrated Solar Power systems (CSP) systems. The author proves that new CSP technologies like the “Central Receiver and Parabolic Trough” can be used as a key instrument for secure and affordable Energy Supply in Europe by the DESERTEC project.
