The paper studies the leadership orientation composed of relation orientation, reform orientation and task orientation. It explores the leadership orientation effect on employee innovation and the mediating effect of knowledge sharing. A model is established to discuss the relationship between leadership orientation, knowledge sharing and employee innovation. It investigates the private enterprises in Zhejiang province and takes the regression analysis for the empirical research. The result shows, relation orientation and reform orientation are significantly positive related to knowledge sharing and then to employee innovation. But task orientation is tested negative to employee innovation and then to knowledge sharing.
