The nonlinear and dead-zone characteristics of proportional decompressing valve affect system's quickness and stabilization, to reach the better performance of proportional decompressing valve's in EHB system, the stabilization need to be improved, and the influence of dead-zone have to be limited. This paper presented the internal model control (IMC) and the deadzone compensation methods used in proportional decompressing valve based on system identification, through hardware-in-loop tests based on xPC platform, the control methods are validated.
