Technology is continuously developing in the direc tion of multi-core systems. However, green computing requirements make power consumption an important issue for embedded multi-core applications. This study introduces an energy-efficient algorithm for scheduling periodic real-time tasks in multi core systems. The proposed algorithm can reduce the power consumption and maintain the reliability of systems. Simulation results show that this algorithm can reduce power consumption in periodic real-time systems from 6 to 10% compared to RA DPM scheduling.
