A functional design diagram for one of parallel hybrid electric vehicles performance simulation software was presented. Using the Unified Modeling Language modeling mechanism, the software system's architecture diagrams, using case diagrams and class diagrams were established. By giving an example for using the software, a compare was made between the software's result and another result which is concluded from ADVISOR 2002 simulation on the condition of same vehicle parameters. It is illustrating that the software is usable and accuracy.
