This paper presents a software design of CPRS DTU bases on μC/OS-II operating system. Firstly, it introduces hardware structure. Hardware takes STM32F103 of ST company as core processor and EM310 wireless communication module of HUAWEI company as communication module. Subsequently, the paper describes the architecture and high level design of the software system bases on C/OS-II operating system, the GPRS DTU software system modules are divided into four layers. User application layer among them includes power on states selection task, parameters configuration tasks, GPRS link maintenance task and so on. Different tasks implement different functions of GPRS DTU. Moreover, the relevant diagram of software modules and its analysis are also given in the paper.
