Arrays and pointers are the key point in C++ and also are difficulty point. In order to improve the efficiency of program, we often combine the arrays and pointers during developing software. C++ college teaching book only introduce how to visit the elements of arrays through pointers, which leads to many students even some teachers are confused by the relations between arrays and pointers. In order to let C++ programmer clearly understand and flexibly use arrays and pointers, this paper begin with the angle of ranks of arrays and pointers, combine diagrams and examples to analyze the relations between pointers and arrays. This method has been proved not only make students understand the relations between arrays and pointers but also is good for full understanding and putting it into practice.
