For providing the cloud computing for energy sector of national economy in Moscow Power Engineering Institute (TU) there was created a server (www.vpu.ru/mas) which allows to solve multifarious engineering tasks effective and troubleproof and may be used in educational engineering proposes as well. The server is adopted for the specific engineering tasks and contains the expanded list of power engineering data which is constantly renewed and replenished. The various methods of calculations of the needed value, which are presented at the web-site, widen capability of users and economize their time. At engineering computing there are a lot of specific complexities connected with change of dimension, calculation errors, big extend of connected calculation equations etc. In this paper we consider on-line computing as an instrument for solving multifarious power engineering tasks connected with design, monitoring and modernization of the elements of power plants. The paper was executed under the direction of Dr. V. F. Ochkov, professor of the Department of Water and Fuel, Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University).
