A novel model of the magnetic domain wall is obtained in order to consider its arbitrary spin structure including the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic spin system. The width δ of a magnetic domain wall is given by δ = √(A|cosθ|/K), where A and K are the exchange stiffness and the magnetic anisotropy constants, respectively. In this equation, the factor √(|cosθ|) is projected to the spin structure, where θ represents the angle between the nearest neighboring spins. Thus, the width of the magnetic domain wall is possibly reduced considering the finite value of angle θ in an antiferromagnet compared with the width of a ferromagnetic domain wall.
