To meet the urgent needs of flight data application, this paper presents the idea of using multi-sensor information fusion technology to solve the bottleneck problem of flight data application. By analyzing the advantages of multi-sensor information fusion technology and the characteristics of flight data system, we make an outlook to the possible difficulties and the relevant solutions in using multi-sensor information fusion technology for flight data application.
