In order to improve stability, vibration isolation of a suspension system with parametric uncertainty for vehicle, a robust controller was designed for the system based on μ-synthesis approach. Dynamic model of an active suspension system with perturbation was analyzed. The simulation of the control system was conducted in the MATLAB/SIMULINK emulation. The result indicates that in the condition of parameter perturbation and surface irregularity disturbance, a robust μ controller made the active suspension system stable, and vibration isolation performance was improved obviously.
