Service capacity based self-configuration model has been proposed to relieve the complexity of installing and configuring applications on a server cluster. The model is an acyclic directed graph. It details the generating algorithm of the model. Based on the algorithm and the knowledge set of cluster system, the self-configuring method is presented to automatically provide resources to meet the service requests.
