To address flow management problem caused by P2P download that can not be effectively solved by current flow management system, a kind of P2P flow management method based on cache was presented. Flow management system based on the method was designed and implemented. The method redirected P2P requests of users to cache server, which will then provide users with P2P resources. It can optimize ISP network bandwidth and improve service quality of P2P applications users. Test results show that P2P cache system can effectively solve the flow management problem caused by P2P download.
