A usable smart antenna receiver (DIRAKE) for TD-SCDMA with beam-forming by amplitude-weight of base-band signal would be given in the paper. Moreover, its performance is also studied when multi-path interference and multi-access interference exist. According to the results of performance simulation, it could be found that DIRAKE receiver has higher gain than classic RAKR receiver, and is easier to be realized. When the beam is formed in base-band, that gain of DIRAKE receiver is influenced by the change of MS's position, which will induce some instability to the system.
