This research investigated the application of linear structural equation model in analyzing the influencing factors on learning interest in the course. Algorithms and Data Structures in computer science. Our results show that the main factors impacted on learning interest of the students are students specialized basis and teachers teaching strategies. The weights of effects on learning interests for the two factors are 49.56% and 43.11%, respectively. Good teaching effects and teaching strategies are important to arouse the students learning interest.
