With the development of the network technology, the data storage of campus network increases rapidly, and the network storage system (hereafter to be referred as NSS) that has centrality and efficiency will replace the traditional direct attached storage (DAS) to become the major part of the campus NSS. By analyzing the storage management situation of the data centers in colleges and universities and combining the actual situation of the data centers, the paper has put forward the construction scheme of the NSS that meets the needs of the data centers.
