On the analysis of the current situation of electronic assembly industry, this paper puts forward a manufacturing execution system based on RFID which apply to electronic assembly production process. The implementation of this system adopts a multi-tier architecture and successfully combines the RFID application and the MES, finally completes the binding between tag and product information, then discuss the functional requirements, system hardware structure and software composition. This system is successfully applied in the Electronic assembly industry. It shows that the system can greatly promote manufacturing management capability, improve the production efficiency and achieve optimization of the whole production process.
