On the background of the crisis of water resources, the research and spread of water culture has become inevitable. Water conservancy institutes are the origin and research center of water culture. And water conservancy institutes are the important foundation of water culture education, which is beneficial for setting the concept of “Knowing water, loving water, saving water and protecting water.” It helps cultivating quality education for college students, building friendly environmental society and promoting the sustainable development of water culture research. On the base of some primary exploration in colleges, this essay build a four-dimensional tridimensional education mode, which research the spread of water culture education through the permeability of space, the duration of time, the systematicness of breadth and the penetration of depth. And it predicts the possible problems that may exist in spreading this education mode in water conservancy institutes.
