In this paper, the problem of state feedback control of networked control systems is investigated. A new networked predictive control method is proposed to compensate for the network-induced delay and data dropout. The closed-loop system is modeled as a switched system with time-varying mode-dependent interval delay. Especially, the upper and lower bounds of the delay are also mode-dependent. Using the average dwell time method, a stability criterion is derived for the closed-loop system. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
